2018 the Year that Was...
It's been an interesting year for Tran - Aqua Studios.
It was the completion of the first year of being open as an online Post Production Studio and Live location recording studio. And it hasn't been a bad start.
I've continued to develop my own website and seen an increase in hits which is always good to see.
In April I started recording the new Phisha Album/E.P. which will be finished and launched in 2019. It is an awesome sounding album and e.p. featuring some amazing guitar playing in the modern finger style tradition along with great songwriting. I look forward to the completion of this project.
ASYLUM TV has had a good second half of the year with recordings of artists such as Stephan Pinzone & Bronnie Gordon doing an acoustic set of their original material at the ASYLUM home.
"City Sharps" recorded live at The Central Club, a truly awesome band if you like classic Australian Punk Rock!
"AK-47" recorded live at The Central Club, a fantastic original Aussie rock/metal band.
"Mae Parker" recorded live at the Memo in St Kilda. An incredible singer / performer with an all star band to suit.
The recording and post production and video production of Ross Patersons latest album/DVD "Thy Will Truly Done" is a beautiful collection of original faith inspired songs featuring the incredible vocals of Alistair Cooper-Golec.
A great live recorded demo for the band "Radio 88" a new up and coming band from the western suburbs of Melbourne who are a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to hear what they do next year.
It's been a pleasure working with ASYLUM TV and all the musicians who have shared with me the privilege to work on their music in my humble studio.
Looking forward to 2019...
I will start it of with working on the next ASYLUM TV project working with the talented "Kelly Auty" which include not only her live cabaret performance but her original music too.
I look forward to working with "John Williams and Double Shot Blues Band" along with many others.
